How Bluxride collects, uses, and protects personal information. Last updated October 2026.
1. What we collect
Account information (name, email, phone), booking details (pickup and drop-off locations, times, passenger counts, special requests), payment information processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers), and — during active trips — vehicle location, used to run the trip and share live status with the people you authorize.
Corporate accounts additionally provide organizational structure such as departments and traveler profiles, managed by their account administrators.
Drivers and partner companies (Bluxride Pro app)
If you use the Bluxride Pro app as a driver or for your company, we also collect:
- Location while the app is open, to navigate to pickups and to show your position to your company's dispatch and, during a trip, to the passenger. We don't collect location when the app is closed.
- Documents you upload, such as your driver's licence, insurance, vehicle registration and permits, with their expiry dates, to check that drivers and vehicles may operate (see "AI features" below).
- Your company's details: company name, team members and their roles, vehicles, and, if you set up payouts, the payout account details held by our payment processor, Stripe. We don't store full bank details ourselves.
- Trip records: the trips you were offered, accepted and completed, with times and status, and SOS alerts.
- Device information: a push-notification token, so we can send you trip alerts.
Your company (its owner and managers) can see your trips, documents and location during work. Bluxride sees them to run and check the network.
Deleting your account. Drivers can delete their account in the app: Profile → Delete account. Company accounts use Account → Request deletion, which our team handles, because the company's trip and tax records must be kept. Records we must keep by law are kept as described in "Retention and security".
2. How we use it
To quote, confirm, dispatch, and complete transportation; to operate the customer, corporate, partner, fleet, and driver portals; to provide receipts, invoices, and settlement records; to communicate about your trips; and to meet legal, safety, and insurance obligations. We do not sell personal information.
AI features. Some features use an AI service on our behalf:
- Document checks. When a company or driver uploads a document (for example a licence, insurance card or permit), an AI service may read it and flag possible problems, such as a name that doesn't match or an expired date. These are notes for our reviewers only; a person always makes the decision.
- The assistant in the partner and corporate portals (only when your company has turned it on). What you write to it, and the details it looks up for you with your own access, are sent to an AI service to prepare an answer or a draft. It never saves, sends or books anything by itself: you see every field and confirm it. The conversation text is kept with your company's records.
- Reading files you give the assistant (when available). A spreadsheet, PDF or photo you upload, such as a guest list, is read by an AI service to fill in a table you check before anything is created.
- Concierge messages. Messages to our concierge on Telegram or WhatsApp may be answered with the help of an AI service.
The AI service provider processes this data only to provide the service, under contract, and may not use it to train its models.
3. Who sees it
The chauffeur and (where a partner performs the trip) the partner company receive the details needed to run your trip. Service providers process data on our behalf — payments (Stripe), email and SMS delivery, AI services, error monitoring, and hosting — under their own safeguards. Corporate administrators see the bookings made under their account. We disclose information when law requires it.
4. Retention and security
Trip and billing records are retained as required for tax, insurance, and regulatory purposes, then deleted or anonymized. Access to production systems is restricted and authenticated; passwords are stored hashed; portal traffic is encrypted in transit.
5. Your choices
You can access and update account information in the app or your portal, request a copy or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@bluxride.com, or delete your account in the Bluxride Pro app. California residents may exercise their rights under the CCPA/CPRA through the same address; we honor verified requests within the statutory windows and do not discriminate for exercising them.
