How it works

From request to drop-off, one accountable system

Ride booking in California, operated by licensed carriers. Every Bluxride booking runs through the same operation: quote, confirmation, assignment, live statuses, completion. Here is what that looks like from your seat.

  1. 01

    Request your ride

Choose airport, point-to-point, hourly, or city-to-city service. Tell us where, when, and how many — from the booking portal, your corporate account, or a phone call to operations.

  2. 02

Priced by the engine, confirmed by people

The pricing engine quotes your trip instantly — distance, class, market, and timing — as one fixed number. No meters, no surge. Operations confirms it, and corporate accounts see it against their negotiated rates.

  3. 03

    Chauffeur and vehicle assigned

A professional chauffeur and an executive vehicle matching your class are assigned from a licensed carrier. Airport pickups are timed to the actual flight, not the scheduled one.

  4. 04

    The trip runs on statuses

En route, arrived, passenger on board, completed — every trip progresses through clear statuses that you (and your travel team) can follow live, with location sharing during active rides.

  5. 05

    Payment, completion, records

Cards are processed securely through Stripe — authorized at booking, captured at completion. Individuals get receipts, corporate accounts get one consolidated invoice, and partners see settlement tracking on every trip.

Common questions

Is the price really fixed?

Yes. Your quote is confirmed before the trip and does not change with traffic. Additions you request — extra stops, added hours — are quoted transparently as they happen.

What if my flight is delayed?

Airport pickups track the flight. Your chauffeur is scheduled against the actual arrival. Your chauffeur company is told about the new arrival time automatically — you do not need to call.

How do payments work?

Pay by card, securely processed through Stripe — we never store card numbers. The card is authorized when the booking is confirmed and captured when the trip completes. Corporate accounts can settle by consolidated monthly invoice instead.

Who is actually driving?

A vetted professional chauffeur from a licensed carrier — Bluxride is the booking agent, not the carrier. Every carrier is held to the same standard, with the same app, statuses, and oversight.
